Let’s face it, we all use some form of gadget in our everyday lives, and probably take several with us when we go on holiday. Gone are the days of popping a book and an instant camera in our carry-on bag. Now, mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras and laptops are the most popular items to take away to keep us entertained on our trip.
So, with that in mind, what happens if something happens to your gadgets on holiday, such as damage or theft? Unless you have gadget cover included or added to your travel insurance policy, the answer is nothing, and you will be out of pocket, not to mention without your gadgets!
Unfortunately, most standard travel insurance policies don’t include gadget cover, and those that do aren’t as comprehensive as you might wish them to be, carrying high excess and low total pay-out.
At PayingTooMuch.com we understand that your gadgets are important to you and can be your only connection with home when you are on holiday. So, to ensure you aren’t out of pocket if you lose or damage them, or are a victim of crime, we are now offing gadget cover as an add on to your travel insurance policy at a very competitive rate.
