Though in a quiet spot, there are some bars and restaurants across the road and the main strip is 10 minutes away. Sidari is a town that doesn't sleep much; bars buzz on until the early hours. But when the sun rises, relish the relative peace of your surroundings and the pretty beach on your doorstep. Here you can recharge your batteries slumbering on warm sand with a cooling dip from time to time.
Families won't feel out of place at the Loxides either: the large, inviting pool is complimented by a separate one for children, who are also provided with a playground. The sea is warm and gently shelving - ideal for a family day at one of the many lovely beaches in the area. Day trips might take you to Corfu Town, on a boat to nearby islands. In the evening, if you're not up for the frenetic partying further down the road take it easy in the bar.
