
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Motor and Household Insurances Sales Consultant to join our rapidly expanding company.
You’ll join a determined team in a busy office. Your role will be to introduce customers to a wide range of insurance products from leading providers, helping them to find the package with the features and benefits they’re looking for.

You will be working a 37.5-hour week that includes some late shifts and weekend days.
We offer a very competitive salary, 20 days holiday (increasing by 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 25) plus bank holidays, group life insurance scheme, free parking and easy access to the A27.
Your day-to-day role:
• Handling inbound and outbound calls (no cold calling) from customers and providing them with a five-star service for their insurance needs.
Giving our clients quotes for motor and home insurance and responding to their emails if they have technical queries.
• You could be liaising with our underwriters to help our customers with claims and general inquiries.
• Use of IT systems to write policies, produce customer documentation, perform adjustments and keep our database up to date.
• Treating our customers fairly and always maintain the required business culture.
• We really value people with the natural communication skills to build up a rapport with customers.

What you can offer:
• At least one year’s experience of producing motor and household quotations
• Experience of selling directly to the public by phone
• Good general knowledge of motor and home insurance
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent team player
• A hands-on approach to an active role in sales and meeting customers’ needs
• The ability to present complex information in clear, simple terms
• The highest standards of honesty and integrity.
Experience of Open-I back office system (from Open GI) is a distinct advantage although full training will be given.
