E.ON has today announced that from the 1st of February they will be slashing their standard gas price by 5.1%. That’s the equivalent of three weeks’ gas use - or £32 off an average annual gas bill.
This will reduce the cost of all four of E.ON’s dual fuel tariffs. If you’re one of E.ON’s 4.5million customers, you’re free to switch between E.ON’s tariffs without paying an exit fee.
The company have also announced a new market leading tariff - E.ON Energy Fixed 1 Year v18 – which has an average annual price of £783 and is today the cheapest tariff available for residential customers.
This tariff is available for new and existing E.ON customers from today.
