Motorists already receive a 10 minute 'grace period' when parking their car in a council run car park. On the 1st October, this grace period was extended to include privately run car parks.
- You can no longer be fined if you are less than ten minutes late in any car park.
- The policy applies to both the end of paid parking and free parking periods.
