Hassle free!!
Very fast and efficient service offering many options. Policy cover was in place in no time after selecting the preferred provider. Premium was actually cheaper for exactly the same policy than going to the providers site direct. I checked!! Would recommend this site and would use again. Read more

Our energy process is accredited to the Consumer Focus Confidence Code, which means we are:

Impartial - Every supplier is shown, even if we can’t help you switch to them.

Comprehensive - Every energy supplier and tariff is compared and listed.

Accurate - Our gas and electricity price database is up-to-date and accurate.

9 out of 10 people could save on energy!

Between 1st Jan 2012 and 31th Dec 2012, at least 10% of people who switched energy supplier with our energy partner saved £328 or more, and 9 out of 10 of those quoted could make a saving on energy.

The form takes about 2 minutes to fill in, and returns quotes instantly. To compare gas and electricity prices online, just enter your postcode and email address in the boxes above and click "get a quote".

Do I need a bill to hand?

As long as you know your energy provider and price plan, we can estimate your savings. However, the service works better if you have a bill to hand as we can use the exact number of units consumed to provide a more accurate comparison than an estimate.

How do I switch once I've found a cheaper plan?

Once you've found a cheaper plan, you can switch providers by clicking the "switch" button on your chosen tariff. After filling in some more details you will then hear from your new supplier within a few weeks, who will liaise with your current provider to action the switching process.

The whole process takes 4-6 weeks. This timescale is required as energy suppliers are on a 28 day rolling contract, so the switch cannot take place until 28 days have passed.

What changes once I switch?

As the gas and electricity is exactly the same, the only difference you should notice is the name of your supplier and the amount on your bill

British Gas reported an increase in profits for 2012 after colder weather has led to higher than expected gas consumption.

British Gas have said that profits have risen because a colder 2012 meant people spent more on heating.

It reported profits from residential energy supply of £606m for 2012, up 11% from the previous year. It said gas consumption had risen by 12%.

The news comes as many consumers struggle with rising utility bills, petrol prices and grocery costs, and in light of a recent price rise, which was announced at the beginning of the winter in November 2012.

Chief Executive Sam Laidlaw explained, ‘A 5 percent margin on the business is the sort of margin we require to make investments in new sources of energy.’

Consumers are advised to shop around to receive the best deals on energy prices.
